What brand of spin shoes do you recommend, and where can I buy them?
I absolutely love my Tiem Slipstream spin shoes! They’ve been my favorite for both comfort and performance, and for the price, they can’t be beaten. What I love most is that they’re easy to slip on, and they offer great support and breathability during class. I always get mine on Amazon, and I’ve been really happy with how well they’ve held up over time.
Which supplements do you take daily, and do you have a preferred brand?
Given how active I am, with all the classes, supplements are a must for me. For years now, I have used and trusted 3D Labs Nutrition. I never miss taking my daily omegas (OmegaMode) and my multivitamin (MultiMode for Women) to at least ensure I’m covering the absolute bare minimum. Around my classes, I also rely heavily on their aminos and protein to help with recovery and maintain my energy levels. (more specifics on those in other FAQs)
What’s your favorite protein powder, and why do you like it?
Salted Caramel and Vanilla from 3D Labs Nutrition! If I am being truly transparent, caramel is my weakness, so when they released that flavor, I ordered a few at a time. Vanilla allows me to mix with things or make pudding if I want something other than a shake so I always have both flavors on hand...literally. In my bag, at my desk, etc!
What athletic gear do you swear by for comfort and performance?
This question would probably be easier to answer in reverse, who do I not like. That would be a shorter reply for sure, but, I tend to lean towards Fabletics and Under Armor most. These preferences are not all about quality either. If you know me, you know...I like colorful outfits!
Do you have a favorite recovery drink or supplement?
I don't personally use a drink or supplement specific to recovery, but instead I choose to sip on aminos before, during and immediately after my classes. I bounce back and forth between the watermelon and fruit punch flavors from the 3D Labs Nutrition AminoMode line. They have other flavors, but these are usually my preference.
What fitness tracker or app do you use, and how does it help you stay on track?
I use my Apple Watch to stay on track. I still have a Series 6 and it does everything I need...keeps everything front and center for me and reminds me, gently, when i am falling behind in any way on my goals. I love being able to see my calories burned, heart rate and steps at any time. I can go hours without picking up my phone because everything comes through on my wrist. A big benefit for me, especially during classes.

What type of resistance bands or weights do you recommend for home workouts?
I use a Resistance Bands Set by Walito when i am not getting into the gym for some strength training work. This set is very inexpensive but comes with different levels of resistance, from 10 to 100 pounds, so I can easily switch between light and heavy resistance depending on the bodypart or workout. You can grab the set on Amazon...where i got it of course.
What’s your favorite yoga mat or equipment for flexibility training?
I don’t use any specific equipment for flexibility training at home, but I do have a go-to yoga mat that I love — the Amazon Basics Extra Thick Exercise Mat. It’s perfect for stretching, yoga, and floor work, with just the right amount of cushioning to keep things comfortable during longer sessions. Plus, it’s really durable and really cheap, which was all I really cared about...it goes on the floor after all.
What clips do you use for your spin shoes?
I use the MARQUE SPD Compatible Bike Cleats for my spin shoes, and they’ve been fantastic! They’re super reliable, clip in smoothly, and work perfectly with my Tiem Slipstream shoes.
